MyNerd – Service Terms

These Service Terms outline key details for customers booking IT support, WiFi optimisation, and other services with MyNerd.


1. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices include VAT – There are no hidden charges.

  • Business service rates apply to payments made via company credit cards.

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Additional costs such as parking fees or congestion charges will be added to the final invoice (receipts provided).


2. Appointment Requirements

  • Customer presence – We kindly ask that customers remain on-site during visits to assist with access, answer queries, and confirm completion of work.

  • Cancellations & rescheduling – Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may be subject to a call-out fee.


3. Data & Equipment

  • Data backups – We strongly recommend backing up important files before any service. MyNerd is not responsible for data loss or hardware failure unrelated to our work.

  • Third-party equipment – Any warranties or guarantees on third-party hardware or software remain the responsibility of the manufacturer.


4. Liability

  • While we take every precaution, MyNerd cannot be held liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss or loss of business.

  • Services are provided on an “as is” basis, and all troubleshooting or repairs are carried out with the customer’s consent.


5. Remote Services

  • A stable internet connection is required for remote support sessions.

  • If no internet is available, an on-site appointment will be required (standard call-out rates apply).
